8, 2007- How can you pass up the opportunity to drive the
Autobahn? In this case it is not the world famous highway but
the Autobahn Country Club (http://www.autobahncountryclub.net)
an exclusive members only track facility that has a 3.5 mile 21
turn track just outside of Chicago.
Our
newest dealer, the Chicago Performance Driving Academy, is
taking part in one of the tracks biggest events of the year,
“Oktoberfast” event, October 19-22. Unfortunately there was not
enough time for us to build and ship CPDA’s own car so we are
sending our corporate car out to attend the event. Dennis
Bainbridge, president of Fusion Racecars, will also be
attending.
Oktoberfast is the biggest event of the year at the Autobahn.
The following is a released from the track.
“We
are planning a great weekend with an Hors d' Oeuvre reception on
Friday evening with live entertainment and German themed buffet
on Saturday night. There will also be Hayrides and events for
the kids. And of course there will be a lot of driving,
including a Chase Race, O group race, and Kart Enduro Race on
Saturday and Sunday, and an Exhibition Race on Sunday. Back by
popular demand the Autobahn Car Show on Saturday. Also
on Saturday we will have an Auto Cross all day.”
The FRC-07 will be available
to both members and non-members (a non-member fee
is required) for rides all three days.For more information please
